This policy explains what information trivia.co.ke ("we", "us") collects when you play our games, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

Game data stored on your device

Our games save your progress — your current puzzle, guesses, and streak — in your own browser using local storage. This stays on your device. We do not receive or store it on our servers, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers and service providers automatically record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site secure, working, and to understand general usage.

Analytics

We may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how many people play, which games are popular, and how the site performs. These tools use cookies and similar technologies and may collect usage data in aggregated, non-identifying form.

Advertising

Our games are suitable for a general audience, and some content supports learning. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the automatic and on-device data described above. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Data retention & security

On-device game data remains until you clear it. Server and analytics logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above. We take reasonable technical measures to protect the site, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
